Not a glamorous job but someone has to do it !!Antifoul might need to be removed for several reasons. This boat pictured had a high moisture content and the only way to find out why was to remove the antifoul
There are several ways to remove antifoul. Blasting, chemical strippers or the Wilkins way..... with a chisel. This gives good visual access to problem areas and leaves the hull ready for a fresh coat of antifoul.
You or your marina need to arrange capture of the removed coating. This is usually achieved by doing the job on a concrete pad that drains into a slurry pit.
